What would it take for you to sell your birthright?

Hebrews 12:15-16 warns us about being like Esau and selling our birthright for a morsel of bread like he did.

I got to thinking about ways we could do that. What would we do that would sell our birthright if we were hungry, naked, in tribulation, nakedness, lack of shelter, in peril, or would have to break one of the 10 commandments? What if were told we had to take the mark of the beast in order to get what we needed in that situation? Hungry, naked, needing shelter the Father knows about it and can bring water out of the rock if He needed to, bread from heaven and shelter us in lifes storms

Everyday whether we recognize it or not we can be in a situation where we can trade off our birth right the Father gave us.

Esau was not starving to death. Most likely he ate before he went out for the day. He most likely was very hungry, but to sell the birthright of the first born was very serious. What will it take for us to sell our birthright as a child of our Father? A birthright through being co-heirs with the Messiah Yahshua, inheriting everlasting life, the earth and being like Him when we come up in the resurrection.

Lets not make that kind of mistake for like Esau that was very sorry over what he did and wept bitter tears over it. He could not undo what was done and found disfavor in the Fathers sight.
